Solid84 Posted December 2, 2017 Posted December 2, 2017 I have a doubt about the speed of TDC slew. Sometimes i feel it very slow. There's a method to speed up movement on TDC cursor? Or it's a fixed speed? Boxin Posted December 2, 2017 Posted December 2, 2017 Once they get it working on an axis you will be able to adjust the curves to speed it up or slow it down. While it is assigned to buttons I don't think there is a way to speed it up. There might be a way to adjust it in the control file, but i'm not sure as I usually just assign TDC slews to a thumb stick on my hotas. Maybe someone else could shed some light on that for you. i9-9900k | 2080 Ti ftw ultra | 32gb DDR4 3200 | Oculus hmd | HOTAS Warthog | MFG Crosswind | MFD Cougar
Solid84 Posted December 2, 2017 Author Posted December 2, 2017 (edited) Unfortunately i cannot assign TDC on axis in future, i have only buttons for it. i haven't thumb stick on my Saitek X52. DAZnBLAST Posted December 2, 2017 Posted December 2, 2017 (edited) The maverick screen can be slewed around in the A10C with my mini joystick, I just had to assign ; | . | , | / keys to the up down left and right axis'. Can I not do this in the Harrier? I assigned U J Y I to it and it hardly moves. Goldham Posted December 2, 2017 Posted December 2, 2017 Holding down the TDC action button will also make the DMT slew around faster. 1
psbob Posted December 2, 2017 Posted December 2, 2017 Press "TDC Action/No Action Toggle" to speed it up. 2
Solid84 Posted December 2, 2017 Author Posted December 2, 2017 Thank you guys! With "TDC Action/No Action Toggle" you can switch the DMT Slew speed between slow and high. Solved for me! Thank you again. epoch Posted December 11, 2017 Posted December 11, 2017 (edited) Press "TDC Action/No Action Toggle" to speed it up. Holding down the TDC action button will also make the DMT slew around faster. Thanks for that! +rep Shame I can't seem to use if though. I have TDC slew mapped to the thumb hat on my Warthog throttle, and it seems that I can either press down or use the directions, not both. And I don't have any spare buttons to use. Damnit  Edit: Hmm ok .. seems there's TDC Down, and TDC Action/No Action. I have the former mapped. What's the difference between these two? Think of it like this - a gamepad thumbstick has 4 directions, but you can also depress/push the joystick down (L3/R3) in the manner of a button, which I think is the "action" button, whereas down is just one of the directions. That's the way I figure it works at least.

That's the way I figure it works at least. I think you misunderstood my post. What I'm saying is that on my HOTAS (Warthog) the push button action on the hat switch I use for TDC cannot be used at the same time as up/down/left/right. So I can't actually hold the button down and slew. It's one or the other. So does anyone know the difference between TDC Down (Action Position) and TDC Action/No Action Toggle? Edit: never mind, this thread answered the question. Mapping the toggle will do the trick. Edited December 11, 2017 by epoch

Evilfisher Posted December 13, 2017 Posted December 13, 2017 I have the 4-way slew set to the Thumb/DMS switch on my TM Warthog, and the action button set to ministick press.
