Capn kamikaze Posted December 9, 2017 Posted December 9, 2017 Please for the love of god sort out the tankers and general airmanship of the AI, the way the tankers just oscillate from LH turn to RH turn to LH turn after a turn to a new waypoint is ridiculous, the tanker pilots fly like they're drunk. This has been an ongoing issue for years, how can it take this long to sort out.
NeilWillis Posted December 9, 2017 Posted December 9, 2017 It's a small matter of priorities. As issues go, the tanker flight model isn't exactly top of the list - thank goodness! You know it happens, so it's easy to anticipate and react to. Hardly worth getting upset about. Personally, I'd sooner see 2.5 released - a far more pressing and significant matter. As long as the matter has been raised as a bug, then it'll get the attention it needs when ED decide that is the next most important thing to fix. So, not very soon I'd guess.

Shadow KT Posted December 11, 2017 Posted December 11, 2017 Uhmmm, why is your tanker going left to right ? Are you trying to refuel while he is flying his flight plan ? Well.... there is your problem. You setup a single WP and make him orbit it in a race track and there are no such issues. Unless, I have misunderstood you 'Shadow' Everybody gotta be offended and take it personally now-a-days
NeilWillis Posted December 11, 2017 Posted December 11, 2017 When levelling out after the race tr5ack turns, the tanker banks in the opposite direction before correcting back onto the required heading. Initially, trying to stay connected is like riding a bucking bronco, but you can anticipate and allow for it once you know to expect it.
