Then use the same login info you use for the forums in the login windows at the middle-left of that screen. Select "Files" then click on "Downloads" from the pull-down menu. That will show you serial number(s) for FC.

Pilotasso Posted January 27, 2007 Posted January 27, 2007 LOL, he doesnt need a serial. CD version only need CD checks. We had people asking for serial with their CD versions before, after the message that apears on screen when the CD is not in the drive. It says "Invalid key" or something like that leading to beleive they need a serial, but all you need to do is to insert the CD on the drive and try execute the game again. The you wont need to do it again for a week. :) .

I purchased it from JR.com, because I wanted the game in physical form in the event of reinstalls and so forth. so am I screwed here with no recourse?
Pilotasso Posted January 27, 2007 Posted January 27, 2007 Sorry, if your disk is OK it should work when you insert it on the drive, but if it doesnt, then your CD needs to be replaced thats all. Better contact vendor and/or Evolved games. It was a common issue with Lockon Gold. You were unlucky you got one of those early batches examples. .

hitman Posted January 27, 2007 Posted January 27, 2007 I can tell you that. Yes, the cd has to be in the drive at LEAST once a week in order for starfarce to recognize that you have a legit copy.

Because you might had some previous mods or whatever in the original Lock on that might be conflicting or whatever. Reinstall everything, delete the old folder then install the original 1.00 Flaming Cliffs 1.1 and then the patch 1.12a (MAKE SURE THIS IS THE RIGHT PATCH). there's a patch for the download version and the cd version. And clean the FC cd before installing it. If the above doesn't work, then begining contacting the seller. [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
