Yes, I do see something weird. You have the DCS install paths (both stable and openbeta) pointing to Saved Games. Is that where your installed copy of DCS lives? Usually it lives in Program Files or in a separate directory tree.

Actually, you're right. The DCS install is on my ssd under H:/Eagle Dynamics but my saved games folder is correct.

Is there anyway I can change this to be correct? If I manually go through the on-screen menus it works as it should.

I run the steam version of Voiceattack. I'm running steam as admin and such when I start Voiceattack I get the windows popup asking if it may change my files. I thus assume VA is running as admin. I still get the message in VA that it's not running with elevated privileges and II cannot enter the config mode for VIACOM.

Still using the free version to sort out compatibility before I buy.

I am not 100% sure as I run standalone, but might be worth setting the option inside VA config to run as Administrator and see what happens

Finally got VIACOM to run. Had to delete the Export.lua file, manually removed all VIACOM Pro folders from Saved games and Vioce Attack. Reinstalled and now it's good.

I do have a new issue however. My kneeboard shows up but it's blank and grayed out. I can't click or use any tabs even when using the voice commands. It shows the command was sent but nothing happens. (attached photo) I have all 5 licenses configured, validated and listed as good. Keyword editor finish step was performed.

I usually get that sorta picture when Vaicom hasn't been recognized if I'm running a different profile, with Vaicom off.

Is the Vaicom pop up menu coming up Ok and is the module recognized in the Green window onn the PTT page Ok? On the About Tab of the pop up, does hitttiing the list button show the Interactive kneeboard on the list

Not sure what you mean in the first question. This is what I see on the pop up menu. And the list shows all 5 licenses, Pro, Chatter, AI RIO, ATC and Kneeboard.

Well that answers that, it all looks good. I assume the opacity slider is turned up (I know that's sorta silly but it's the sorta dumb assed thing I'd do)

Are you running VSPX (I am so need separate commands made into the Vaicom profile)

Have you tried opening the Kneeboard with the keypresses, I think it's R_Shift K, then using your square brackets to page to the Interactive kneeboard to see if it still looks the same?

From the commands in the Vaicom window it looks like Vaicom is waiting for something else to be said, as if the command is not complete, which is odd.

I doubt I can help much more as I run VSPX and it's known that there are some problems with the internally generated command set when using it, but I'll take a look and if I see anything I'll post back up

@Gorlow, you have quite a few VoiceAttack plugins all running at once according to the log. Have you tried removing all of them except for VAICOM? Perhaps there is a conflict. You might also turn on VAICOM's debug mode and restart to look for additional cues. Also, VAICOM PRO saves a log file (not the same as the VoiceAttack log) in folder C:\Program Files (x86)\VoiceAttack\Apps\VAICOMPRO\Logs. There might be additional clues there. Finally, do you have this problem with the stock VAICOM PRO profile? It appears that your profile includes kneeboard commands activated by the joystick, so I assume it is not stock.

I have no idea what VSPX is or if its running. How can I find if I am?

I have disabled all the other plug-in with the same results.

The joystick activated commands I put in to troubleshoot more they have since been deleted so I am using the stock profile.

And Debug isn't showing anything odd.

I doubt then that you're running VSPX, I'm not trying to be clever or sarcastic but have you had a look at the manual?

The Vaicom manual is excellent, I wish other software providers went to as much trouble

VSPX is an alternative method of speech input where you don't have to wait for the bleep after contacting a virtual aircraft or airfield before saying the command. You can tell if it's activated by looking at the Editor Tab on the VA pop up. To the left of the microphone symbol is a VSPX "light" if you have it enabled it will be green.

You also need to have the Extended Command Set option ticked in the Preferences tab of the pop up for the Interactive Kneeboard to function corectly.

When you say the Debug isn't showing anything odd, I'm assuming that you've got the "Run in debug mode" enabled under the Config tab on the pop up and it's not showing any problems either.

That's about all I have, did you open the kneeboard through the keyboard and key to the Interactive Kneeboard page to see if it looks the same when you try that?

If you're still having problems and you can't find a fix, as it sounds a strange problem and above what little troubleshooting skills I posses. I'd go to the Vaicom webpage and then drop Hollywood or one of his team the question. They have been very helpful to me in the past.

Is there a way to set push to talk binds per aircraft and have VIACOM auto switch like SRS does?

Ideally it'd just look at your comms bindings in game and grab those but barring that i'm looking for the best way to do it.

I'd also like to know if this is possible.

Right now I use my Warthog throttle for all my modules except for the Viper. For the Viper I use my Cougar throttle. Would be great to be able to use the comms switch on my Cougar throttle, specifically for the Viper.

Also, small side question:

Does anyone else have an issue that ground crew doesn't respond to "remove wheelchocks" command? I tried all kind of voice commands, I even saw the "Crew, remove the wheelchocks" message in the top left of my screen, but ground crew doesn't respond. When giving the order through the normal radio menu, they do respond and remove the chocks. Any ideas?

Are you guys having troubles with the A-10C II? When I start this aircraft with VAICOM active the INTERCOM F10 menu will pop-up every 5 seconds even though I'm not pushing anything.

Any clue?

Try deleting the export.lua in your saved games scripts folder and then restarting VA and then DCS

Copy your old export.lua and then just copy the SRS and DCS lines back in

It should be the OB one, but start Vaicom with its debug option on and it will confirm which folder is being used in the log

@hornblower793It worked! It seems that VAICOM was using the DCS folder, not the DCS.openbeta. Actually I think that all my third parties app were using that folder so I deleted DCS.openbeta, went to DCS folder, deleted the Export.lua, made SRS create it with its correspondent line, added the line for DCS UFC and then I went to VAICOM settings tab. I selected the manual saved games path. put the slider on openbeta, and it is working great.
