I noticed that the heatblur affects the HUD lines as if the HUD lines were infinitely far away. I know that the real HUD collimator exploits this principle, projecting the lines in a way that they seem to come from infinity. However, they of course come from the HUD glass and therefore should not be affected by environmental effects.

 

Since this is a very prominent error I assumed that this was noticed before and indeed it was. I found a thread from two years ago and the bug was acknowledged by the devs. It is not a game breaking bug that causes crashes but it is rather annoying. Please can someone from ED have a look at this?
