wewcc Posted December 24, 2017 Posted December 24, 2017 I don't get why there is shortcut key for request home base, request tanker, but nothing for request bogey dope? Without existence of data chain in the game, I need to request bogey dope every several seconds when searching for enemy (he's not on my RWS) in single player campaigns. Every time I had to open communication menu, select AWACS, then select request for bogey dope. It has been a real pain. When can't they just add one more shortcut, or is there anything I should know?
grunf Posted December 24, 2017 Posted December 24, 2017 It would be nice to have the shortcut, I agree. Until it's implemented, you can use F keys, IIRC it's F7 for contacting AWACS, F4 for bogey dope. Takes only a second :)
Buckeye Posted December 24, 2017 Posted December 24, 2017 Use your mouse software to write a multi key macro or get a voice command program. The later means you never take your hands of your HOTAS or your eyes off the task at hand, the former requires a second or two to reach and grab the mouse.
