Hoggorm Posted December 30, 2017 Posted December 30, 2017 Hi. I use TrackIR and in the Viggen I find myself basically inside the HUD when moving my head forward a bit. My intention is to look closer at an instrument, but I go way too much forward and end up basically inside the HUD. Is this a common problem? How can I fix this?
Holton181 Posted January 1, 2018 Posted January 1, 2018 Have you tweaked the trackIR settings? If you didn't know already you can set sensitivity and curves for all 6 axes. Helicopters and Viggen DCS 1.5.7 and OpenBeta Win7 Pro 64bit i7-3820 3.60GHz P9X79 Pro 32GB GTX 670 2GB VG278H + a Dell PFT Lynx TrackIR 5
QuiGon Posted January 1, 2018 Posted January 1, 2018 Yeah, that sounds more like a problem with the TrackIR settings, resulting in unrealistic and overdone head movements, than it sounds like a problem with the module itself. Intel i7-12700K @ 8x5GHz+4x3.8GHz + 32 GB DDR5 RAM + Nvidia Geforce RTX 2080 (8 GB VRAM) + M.2 SSD + Windows 10 64Bit DCS Panavia Tornado (IDS) really needs to be a thing!
Hoggorm Posted January 2, 2018 Author Posted January 2, 2018 Ok, thank you! I'll check the settings however I cannot recall that the same problem is present in other modules...

That's weird, but I've never had this problem with the Viggen, as its head tracking behaves the same like that of any other module for me. :dunno: Intel i7-12700K @ 8x5GHz+4x3.8GHz + 32 GB DDR5 RAM + Nvidia Geforce RTX 2080 (8 GB VRAM) + M.2 SSD + Windows 10 64Bit DCS Panavia Tornado (IDS) really needs to be a thing!
