Hi,

I'm working my way through the A-10C BFT training and have made it as far as the waypoint navigation serial. Since the latest DCS1.5 update, regardless of setting the correct altimeter setting, i keep failing the serial for height issues. For some reason the height is misreading and i have no idea why.

Anyone got any helpful tips please?

That sounds very much like the cause, but adding to the complexity is adjusting abrametric pressure adjustments. I believe the process is to use the callout out altitude (QFE) during takeoff, then as you climb above 10,000, switch back to QNE 2992. When I was flying BFT I think this resulted in around 300' adjustment. I honestly am not SURE if the mission requirements use QFE or QNE, so I ended up flying in between the two to be "safe".

good luck. The missions are a blast, albeit a little frustrating at times!

My way to solve this is to always (when able) to have the POS page shown in the CDU when flying. In this page I use the GPS altitude as a reference to level off my altitude.
