CICU INPUT ERR

I get this error msg on HUD every time I try to change Maverick Slew Rate from MFCD MAV page. Any way to avoid it?

what are you trying to change it to? rates are 1-5

1-9 in my experience.

Simply trying to change it to 3. Immediately upon pressing the MAV page OSB 8(?), the CICU INPUT ERR displays in the message area of the HUD. I then must clear it before I can input the numeric.

You are typing 3 into the scratchpad before hitting the OSB, correct?

Uhhhhh. No. It's that simple, huh?

Everything on the A-10C MFCDs and CDU that I can think of needs to be typed in the scratchpad before the OSB/LSK is pressed. It's a little counter-intuitive at first but you'll get used to it.
