Ziptie Posted January 1, 2018 Posted January 1, 2018 Hi there. Having trouble in attaining my key for the Nevada map for stand alone install of alpha 2.x build. Purchased a10c, fc3 and Nevada via steam - no issues inputting key info for first and second modules (a10 and fc3) but no luck w/ Nevada. At the time of purchase, it clearly stated keys can be used either way - but it does not say that about Nevada. Only purchased via steam due to sale price, then six hours later or so they offered for same price direct thru dcs website. Will key be provided once the whole 2.x merger is completed in January or not likely to receive a key for Nevada without purchasing again direct via website of dcs? Would like to hear thoughts so i make the next purchase/decision correctly. Main reason for wanting to run outside of steam is - seems to run better with VR for me, smoother, less effort for PC and can turn stuff up more.. Rudel_chw Posted January 1, 2018 Posted January 1, 2018 Old modules (like A-10C and FC3) purchased on steam can be used on standalone ... not so for Nevada, this is a newer DLC and only runs on Steam version of DCS. Try to get a refund on Steam, as you have not used it, and then purchase it on ED's shop.
