FlyBoyd Posted January 2, 2018 Share Posted January 2, 2018 Hey guys, hoping to get some help here. I am new with the rift (great xmas present!) and am having some issues getting started in DCS. I installed the oculus software and everything there is running great. But when I start DCS I see the screen on my monitor (what I should be seeing in the rift) but when I put on the headset I don't see anything. What am I missing? I tried following a guide on here from a 2014 post but that had me install a runtime for windows and after I did that I got nothing at all, so I did a complete reinstall and now I just want to run DCS. Any ideas? Thanks! enedhil Posted January 2, 2018 Share Posted January 2, 2018 Did you activate the VR-Headset in DCS-options? In the DCS-Option menu there is a tab especially for VR. There you have to klick "Activate VR-Headset". After that DCS is starting new and then you see all in the Oculus.
