twistking Posted January 3, 2018 Posted January 3, 2018 (edited) hey guys, i am thinking of picking up the p-51 for aerobatic flying as an upgrade to the tf-51, which i use for aerobatics/training besides the bf-109. from my understanding the p-51 can mount one "smokewinder" smoke-pod under each wings, but i have also seen videos of p-51 with only one "centerline" smoke-trail. does this come with the module or is it a mod? the tf-51, since ages, has a bug, where the nav lights are not visible behind 200meters or so. i don't refer to the general problem of low light visibility in dcs, but a specific problem where all the distance LODs have no nav light at all. this might seem like a minor problem for the dogfighting-crowd, but if you do aerobatics and formations the broken nav-lights are truly dissapointing on the tf-51... is this bug also present on the p-51? razo+r Posted January 3, 2018 Posted January 3, 2018 Sidewinders can only be mounted on the wings by default. Yes, this bug is on the P-51 too afaik.
