4c Hajduk Veljko Posted June 6, 2007 Posted June 6, 2007 Nice YAK and it flies very good, I have the same model.Cool! Here’s my setup: Final weight: Approximately 7.3kg High speed servos: Rudder, Hitec HS-5955 Titanium Gear: (6.0V) 333 oz-in (24 kg-cm) Ailerons, elevator(s) Hitec HS-5925MG. Torque (6.0V): 127.76 oz/in. (9.2kg-cm) Engine: Kroma50i. Propeller 21 X 8. I did not check RPM yet. I was too eager to fly. I am flying it with Futaba 9C Super, in PCM mode. Synthesized Transmitter and Receiver Modules. What engine and servos are you using? Update 6/11/2007 Yesterday I checked the engine RPM. It was turning 21 X 8 Bolly propeller at 7200 rpm. I am on my first gallon (30 : 1) of fuel and the engine is still braking in. Kuky Posted June 6, 2007 Posted June 6, 2007 Veljko, that Yak looks nice, but actually I like the way that Trainer looks even more  Now, if you want to practive flying a remote controled aircraft and not spent any money why not fly an aircraft in LockOn and set your view on externals next to runway... then take off, take her for a few circles.. then land. I know this is lot harder in game because you don't have peropherial vision (seeing suroundings so you get sense of space) but I guess if you can land an aircraft like this in LockOn you surely would be able to do it for real with RC model. The only problem you might expect in real life is changable wind conditions. For practicing and staying in shape I use Real Flight 3.5. It is very realistic simulator and also works with my actual radio transmitter.
