Nanne118 Posted January 28, 2018 Posted January 28, 2018 Preferably you might want to use double sided velcro, though depending on the kind of adhesive used this may damage the screen itself (or at least leave that nasty sort of grime), so it may be best suited for the bezel of the screen only. If you are also able to find some plastic / rubber feet that have roughly the same depth to the screen as the bezel (or you can shave them down to size) adding these in the opposite corner of the two velcro strip per MFD gives it a good stability as well, to prevent the MFDs from moving when you press a button. sobe Posted January 28, 2018 Posted January 28, 2018 I have used a combination of Velcro along the edges of the screen and blue tac for the frame that is over the screen. ebabil Posted April 28, 2018 Author Posted April 28, 2018 here is my humble solution: i had a plexi cut and attached my mfds' with double sided tape. and attached 2 tablecloth clamps to prevent sliding to the sides. now i can remove the plexi within seconds and can use the monitor as a monitor whenever i want. thanks everybody for the help! ebabil Posted May 4, 2018 Author Posted May 4, 2018 Hello again.. We made a smilar setup for our friend with 3 mfds' But he wasn't satisfied with keeping the monitor next to main monitor. He tried to put it on the bottom but this didin't work either because of the lack of the proper space. He now wants a table top solution with small screens (2 mfd setup) Can you provide monitor suggestions like lilliput etc ? Can you provide information about this setup? Are these monitors plug and play like regular monitors, or will we need to add some boards cables etc? cichlidfan Posted May 4, 2018 Posted May 4, 2018 The biggest issue with lilliput and similar monitors is that they are USB, which is a very inefficient way to manage video. For USB monitors to work the data must move through the graphics bus and then back to the USB bus which creates lag and lower FPS.
