I'm afraid this is not quite fixed ;) The landing light of my own Viggen does indeed not illuminate the cockpit anymore. However, that of my (AI) Viggen friend still does.

Well, at least I think that my cockpit should not look this bright:

Just FYI. Great fixes otherwise

This is not on us unfortunately. Dynamic lights do not cast shadows in DCS.

The rear-view mirrors has not yet been implemented and doesnt show whats really behind you, they just show a simulated box to know if its ground or sky behind.

My understandings is that they are working on it and they will get implemented in the future.

:)

Yesterday's HotFix has reintroduced the cockpit lighting bug when the landing light is on, at least for me....

If this is the case, then something has changed in the renderer with regards to lights (again)

Will investigate.

Nicholas, this is a known issue. Sometimes ED breaks the lighting system of the game for some reason. I've seen this many times, and it happens once in a while, most of the lighting gets broken, especially the cockpit lights, floodlights are the best example.

I doubt it's HB's fault. A-10C floodlight is also broken, as well as the F-5E, AV-8B, and others.

Can't confirm! For me cockpit is pitch black when my landing light is on (hotfix applied). I only get an illuminated cockpit when other flights are behind me. But Cobra already explained why.

I noticed a typo in the new JA-37Di “Akktu Stakki” Livery by Magnus Almgren.

Atleast for me it showed number "00" instead of "02" on the wings because it uses Left wing for both. If anyone have the same problem simply open up the discription.lua inside DCS World\CoreMods\aircraft\AJS37\Liveries\AJS37\37402 and change the line: {"LNS_VIG_EXT_WING_R", 0 ,"LNS_VIG_WING_L",false}; to {"LNS_VIG_EXT_WING_R", 0 ,"LNS_VIG_WING_R",false};

and that will do it :)

Good jobs! Those problems are actually solved in 2.5

2 small things:

1 The antiship self-explode bug still remains unfixed. Antiship missiles explode immediately when the viggen is down.

2 The radar crosshair on the radar release mode(120kg bombs) is wrong. If I pull the trigger when the crosshair exactly pass the target, the bombs fall about 500m behind the target.

1. Cobra answered a similar question in this thread, see post 8. To summarize, Heatblur had to use a workaround in order to apply their own logic to the guidance of their anti ship missiles, and that guidance is lost when the Viggen dies. The loss of guidance makes the missile explode.

I haven't used RR bombing myself so I can't help much, taking a position fix (if you haven't already tried that) might eliminate the navigation system error, but aside from that I can't be much help.

No changes in the latest two hotfixes. We're working towards the major patches.
