I've had my TM Warthog HOTAS for about a week now, and so far it's working great. There's just one thing I'm not so sure about: though the throttle slider is smooth, I can hear it creak for a second when it passes the middle. I don't mind it because it doesn't affect the throttle's performance or feel, but I still can't help but think whether this is normal.

Does anyone else have the same issue?

Am I the only one on this forum with this flight stick? :P

I wasn't so sure about that weird creaking sound, so I went ahead and ordered a replacement just to be on the safe side.

You ordered another throttle?

Did you try reducing the tension with the friction wheel adjustment?

Yep, they probably just need some good use to settle them in some, seeing there brand new.

Yep, changing the tension didn't get rid of the sound. A few hours after posting this thread I started feeling it stick in the middle. I didn't want to wait for it to get worse, so I've already sent it back and asked for a replacement.
