Well, most of the times, when I fly very high, 10.000 meters or more, a strange pattern of water ripples appear, they look like some kind of giant fish is feeding on the surface:unsure:

These have been around since the first Normandy release. I agree they seem to only occur when flying/viewing from high altitude, ~5000+ meters. Once they appear they'll propagate and increase in amplitude over time. Very strange bug.

ETA: They're also much more apparent and seem to get 'worse' quicker with higher wind settings.
