FOUND BUG : AUDIO, no sound/low sound

the UI audio slider is over riding other sliders, eg is music is put to zero then no other sound at ll

I too had an issue with sound. but slightly different.

 

If i set the top sound slider to less than 10, the sound stops completely

same for me... but happens specifically when I load a new game (e.g. die, restart mission). There is absolutely no sound, no matter what options you change. The only thing you can do is exit the game and re-launch.

I just found out that everytime I changed to Full Screen in game, all sounds would be gone. And I have to restart after deleting the option.lua file under Saved games/DCS OpenBeta/Config. DCS 1.5.8 has the same bug. But neither 1.5 and 2.2 has this problem.

ED can you respond as to whether you guys are able to re-create the bug? maybe an acknowledgement this is going to be looked into please :)!

The sound bug is still present in the latest open beta release... it seems random when the sound cuts out.

 

Very disappointing there is not even an acknowledgement on this one!!

That is strange, my GUI music is always 0% and I never had any issues with sound.

 

neither with OB nor with the stable release.

 

 

Have you updated your drivers lately ? Win10 Creator's Update demands new sound drivers at least for Realtek S1220 based setups. You might wanna check your mobo vendor....
