Hi All, since the last update when I use Assisted Startup with Jester I can't get access to the HUD and the multi-function screen just displays a giant X. Any ideas? Thanks.

sorry what does that mean, as in I have trigger bound but that doesn't lock onto the target area... and I can't see anything in the "stick" binding section

Hi Guys, I'm reading the manual for both rocket and bomb deployment and it mentions 'DES' to lock target designator but I cannot find a keybinding or axis control that follows this. I have the target slew up, down, fwd bound and can move the target box but I can never lock on to ground targets with the window. any help would be appreciated ! thanks. *LANTRIN

@Cobra847 thanks for clarifying the release period and hope you can understand we are all eager :). December through to March is a long time period and I guess if someone can be delegated to give a quick update each week (or bi-weekly) of challenges and key deliverables via a Dashboard or forum update it would be appreciated. I'm sure you have this internally already but releasing it onto Google Drive or through the website would just help everyone :thumbup: here. The videos don't help as it looks great already!! :D

sometimes it takes a while for the IFF to work (i.e. 10 seconds), are you levelling out to ensure it's a square or diamond?

Yes I tried that but doesn't seem to work (I don't think it's actually a programmed feature (?) ) dual throttle axis (not one for each like the TM warthog).

No sorry, I should have been clearer. This is a cold start from a hangar, using the "auto start" windows key + Home. It constantly halts and says "RPM Failure". Weather conditions are -4.

Hi - with the autostart I keep getting right engine rpm failure due to parameters. I've had quick search on here and couldn't see anyone else having this. Is there a fix/workaround?

I had to go to the savedgame folder and remove ALL input files for F18 and re-bind. This fixed the issue.

I can't remember exactly but....there's a control function under "HOTAS" in controllers. One does nosewheel deselect (S) and the other undesignates target... (I think it was T).

Hi, the last update (today) just broke my controls (CH Fighterstick + TM Throttle), it looks as though they're all bound but the game just doesn't recognise. Either some work and some don't, looks like all mouse bindings have gone as well :(. I've tried to clear category and re-assign but even though the menu recognises button press, in-game nothing happens. any help please :)

just did some further digging, it seems DCS is making windows 10 report "bad sectors" but it A) never had this before , B) installed on a brand new drive, C) done all checks and everything system wise is OK. So... how could DCS be constantly forcing these BSOD / KERNEL DATA INPAGE ERROR ? This seems to be either a HDD or RAM failing but I've checked everything/system checks and 3rd party apps, all OK all other applications run fine. This just happened since DCS updated and F/A 18... so guys at ED please can you explain and/or advise if this is something your end that can be addressed in the next update? Many thanks.

Hey BIGNEWY, thanks for the advice but unfortunately still getting game crashes, since the last update this is now mostly hard freezes / BSOD :(.

how do you access JTAC, mine does not seem to work?

I'm still suffering the same amount of crashes, even with the new update :(. Now, a log isn't even created because the game is literally 'hanging' and then just closes suddenly.
