MustanGrande Posted February 2, 2018 Posted February 2, 2018 When attempting to utilize the TGP or DMT in 2.5, I'm greeted with black screens on my MFD. The green symbology remains overlaid, but there is no target image present.
EightyDuce Posted February 2, 2018 Posted February 2, 2018 Mine was doing the same thing in VR, however, seems to work when running in traditional mode (non vr). METEOP Posted February 2, 2018 Posted February 2, 2018 Maybe unrelated, maybe not... I'm getting black squares on the TAD in the A10-C, I posted it as related to a stuttering issue on this thread : https://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=201162 METEOP i5-6600K OC@4.5Ghz, GTX 1070 OC, 32Gb RAM, M.2 NVMe SSD Warthog HOTAS, Saitek Rudder Pro, Trackhat Clip, 1080p projector, Custom touchscreen rig, Ikarus touchscreen panel, Voice Attack, ReShade, Simshaker Aviator
MustanGrande Posted February 2, 2018 Author Posted February 2, 2018 Worth noting that Mavs are borked, too. And yes, but if I can't fly in VR, I might as well not fly.

Did you try taking it out of STBY and targeting (TDC select) something that's not the sky or water? It will stay all green but you can see the terrain. Then you can change from CCP to FLIR in the TPOD screen. My DMT, TPOD and Mavs work perfectly 100% of the time in 2.5. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Yep. Locked them onto the ground, and they were out of standby. It's on the sky in the pic because I didn't want to fly into the terrain. No difference whatsoever. Switching from CCD to FLIR on the TPOD simply results in the same lime-green display that the Mav in the image shows. Are you in VR? EDIT: Thinking back on it, the map on the kneeboard was ALSO blacked-out. I was able to see the waypoint lines, but not the underlying charts. Edited February 2, 2018 by MustanGrande
Fortes Posted February 2, 2018 Posted February 2, 2018 I had this problem with VR, I solved it by taking the MSAA in-game.
59thCasper Posted February 2, 2018 Posted February 2, 2018 i solved this by running the repair via the dcs updater, some files changed and now works on all msaa 59th | Casper [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] Our Website | Our Facebook Page | YouTube Channel | Our Discord System : 9900k 5ghz, 32GB 4166mhz Ram, 2080Ti, Hotas Warthog, Virpil WarBRD base, MFG Crosswinds, VR + TrackIR, All Modules For DCS
MustanGrande Posted February 3, 2018 Author Posted February 3, 2018 I solved the problem by doing... nothing at all. When I went and viewed the replay, everything was fixed, both in VR and on the regular screen. Not sure what the bug was, but it seems to have fixed itself, for now.
