Hey Guys :)

I've started with BFT and have a little problem. In the first mission where i do my start-up i am asked to contact tower for taxi as soon as i am ready.

Unfortunately after request taxi (uhf 260 @ Batumi) i get clearance but i have to wait another 8 minutes so the 15 minutes limit is hit and the instructor makes the checks so we can roll. The instructor asks me if i missed anything or if i forgot to read the manual and so on while waiting to hit the time limit.

I am using a clean installation of latest 2.5 open beta. The module is freshly installed, no mods running.

I've got beside that my Q for BFT1, so i am not stucked for now :)

Thanks in advance :)

Check the F10 Menu items as there is one called "READY START-UP".

You can use that to inform the FE that you have completed the start-up so you don't have to wait the full 15 minutes.

We recognize that some players might be slower or faster with the start-up procedure so this gives the user the option to start when they are ready and not wait for the full 15 minutes.

Great!

Hi Sabre,

thank you very much for the quick response. Makes sense to me now :) I have switched trough all frequencies and tried it on UHF/FM/AM but haven't thought about the F10 menu.
