One of us has started their own server "Aerobatics Belgium" which is an open server, and draws quite some people from time to time. Now since 2.5 OB was released we have had some trouble finding our server in the list. Even when trying to connect to IP adress it says "server offline" or "server unavailable"... We are using Hotel wifi, so i thought maybe that might be a problem. So i tried switching to Mobile hotspot from my cellphone. That did the trick for me... Server showed up and i could connect. But for my one friend nothing worked. he just couldnt find it. The server owner is running the server from his home. And when he is away, he operates it with Teamviewer. Anyone has some idea's why we cant find the server? its a bit much gaming on Mobile data every day :ermm: Edited February 8, 2018 by Lt. I found that I had to actually do the update more than once and also did a repair (4 of them in my case) on the game folder via the updater as well
IJammer Posted February 12, 2018 Posted February 12, 2018 The server refresh is still not operating correctly... I tried to get into 'Online Aerobatics'... it wasn't until two hours online and multible attempts that it showed on the server list. By then it was bed time LOL
onefox Posted February 21, 2018 Posted February 21, 2018 I am having the same problem and cannot see all the servers all the time. Sometimes they can show after a few minutes and a refresh, and other times after an hour or two. The ones I use and have an issue with are a couple of the Aerobatics Servers, the Australian Through the Inferno, DynamicDCS, and a few others. Sometimes I can be lucky and everything is there. But if the game crashes or you need to quit for whatever reason the chance of the servers being listed at restart is 50/50. This is a pain if you get bounced by a DCS crash while mid flight and try to restart and rejoin only to find that your server isn't in the list anymore. Yet everyone on the radio is saying it's all good and they are still flying around asking where have you gone. Please fix this ED.
