Evilducky Posted February 19, 2018 Posted February 19, 2018 Is there a way to start with the NVG helmet? I think its kinda silly that we would need to wait 4 minutes to get that changed out when a mission is starting in the dark. Wouldnt they pre-set that up before even going to the plane?

Sadly it takes 4 minutes for them to change it out this way. It is preset, check the last section of the options in the Mission Editor. The first box will allow you to start the mission with your NVG's already mounted onto your helmet. I have this box checked and it still starts with the normal helmet and has to be requested. :(

Texac Posted February 19, 2018 Posted February 19, 2018 Actually I was flying a night mission starting in the air and I could use the NVG's right away. Perhaps I didn't even check the box...
