=475FG= Dawger Posted February 21, 2018 Posted February 21, 2018 Does anyone know of an app that will allow the viewing of a zoomable and scrollable image? I would like to be able to view JPG's of Tactical Pilotage Charts without taking off the HMD. I need to be able to zoom and scroll and the kneeboard doesn't seem to support this.
D4n Posted February 22, 2018 Posted February 22, 2018 What kind of App do you mean? Simple Windows Program? =475FG= Dawger Posted February 22, 2018 Author Posted February 22, 2018 What kind of App do you mean? Simple Windows Program? App is short for application, a term used to describe a computer program for a specific purpose. I desire a windows desktop application (App) that will allow me to view, zoom and scroll an image file inside my virtual reality space. The DCS kneeboard should do this but does not hence the desire for a third party solution.
Fri13 Posted February 22, 2018 Posted February 22, 2018 If you have a map in image format, you can then use Oculus Dashboard to pin any desktop window to your VR world. The DCS Kneeboard allows you to see the automatic generated map of your waypoints, but it would as well be nice if it would have a closer take of specific kinds like engagement areas or closer area of each waypoint. i7-8700k, 32GB 2666Mhz DDR4, 2x 2080S SLI 8GB, Oculus Rift S. i7-8700k, 16GB 2666Mhz DDR4, 1080Ti 11GB, 27" 4K, 65" HDR 4K.

Windows App is from Microsoft Store, an "App" that only works with Win 8, 8.1 and 10, NOT windows 7 (no appstore there). Normal windows programs are still "programms", not "apps".
