Pinefang Posted February 23, 2018 Posted February 23, 2018 Any one know of any other way to set the TACAN in the A-10c then to screw with the dials on the TACAN panel? This was broken a couple of years ago and here now it has reared its ugly head again. Frustrated with it. All this money spent and still screwing with things that shouldn't be broken again and again.

There you can select TACAN to effect the HSI and display range, bearing and more. But you always have to "screw" with the TACAN panel first.
Pinefang Posted February 23, 2018 Author Posted February 23, 2018 I mean the TACAN panel on the right hand side. I can set the ten number but not the ones dial. I get the appropriate green wheel over the tens dial and that lets me scroll that number but over the ones dial the mouse cursor turns in to the symbol for a switch and not the wheel of arrows. I wish I knew why yours works but not mine.
Bender_39 Posted February 23, 2018 Posted February 23, 2018 (edited) I have never experience this and i'm using the tacan panel regulary... Maybe you take a look in the settings if it's possible to bind the rotarys to a key combination, just to check if the tacan is working as it should...? Edited February 23, 2018 by Bender_39 1 kind regards Bender_39

Try different position until you find the right place where you see the scroll symbol. Do you actually scroll with your mouse? If that doesn't work i would go with bender's advice. For example i bound the parking brake in the harrier to my keyboard because it is hard to aim for the right place with the cursor and easy to hit the cutoff lever by mistake. 1
Pinefang Posted February 23, 2018 Author Posted February 23, 2018 Yes my mouse does not turn into the wheel symbol over the ones numbers. But Bender39s suggestion works fine. It is a good work around until things get fixed. Not sure why I never thought of binding it to a key. Thanks Binder39.
Bender_39 Posted February 23, 2018 Posted February 23, 2018 Glad I could help, but to be honest it was only a good guess:D I hope that is only a small bug and it will be gone with a update. Having a bug like this in a product that old is not satisfying... kind regards Bender_39
