RaceFuel85 Posted February 27, 2018 Posted February 27, 2018 So this just popped into my brain when I was tinkering with my Warthog.. I know Nick/Cobra has said most of their team uses the Warthog HOTAS as their control scheme, but is it possible for the Tomcat module to come with recognition of the Warthog HOTAS as it's native control scheme? Meaning having the various switches on the Warthog throttle base be mapped and functional without having to in and hack up the .lua files. If so, maybe consider an engraved overlay plate with labels?
Freeroamer Posted February 27, 2018 Posted February 27, 2018 The engraved plates wouldn't be all that hard. Likely could be done with a cheap Laser cutter or something like that.
punk Posted February 28, 2018 Posted February 28, 2018 Hmm, I have an old vrinsight FMC/CDU, is it possible to make a profile to use it as the flight computer in the back seat? I know they are way different, but it would be nice not to have to use the mouse to type stuff in. Punk [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
Greekbull Posted March 2, 2018 Posted March 2, 2018 If someone created a overlay plate I would almost certainly be a buyer. I'll definitely be getting the Tomcat stick...and the Hornet stick too:D AMD Ryzen 9 7950X3D | ASUS Crosshair Hero X670E | 64GB G Skill Trident Z DDR5 6000 | Nvidia RTX 4090 FE| Samsung EVO Plus 6 TB M.2 PCIe SSDs | TM Hornet Stick/WinWing Hornet Throttle and MIP | VPForce Rhino FFB Base | TM TPR Rudder Pedals W/Damper | Varjo Aero/Pimax Crystal | NeoEngress NACES Seat VFA-25 Fist of the Fleet Carrier Strike Group One(CSG-1) Discord
