Hello folks. I'm Developer of Republic of Korean navy mod for dcs.

 

There's one problem, My ship's collision model is not working. I can't land on my ship and There is no more solution for me.

 

I following Manual and some forum threads. (https://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=82737,https://forums.eagle.ru/showpost.php?p=705405&postcount=7,) but It's not working. I just followed that procedure. What's wrong on my collision model? :helpsmilie:

 

That is my method

 

1. Created a simple low-poly damage mesh in 3Ds Max 2016.

2. Inserted a text the object properties user defined section to TYPE = ”collision_shell"

3. Exported as EDM

4. change .lods data and saved

 

Here is my lods data

 

model = {
  lods = {      
     {"LPH6111.edm",1000000.000000};
  };
       collision_shell = "LPH6111-collision.edm";
}

 

5.The Main visible edm is working. but collision model is not to work. :(

 

What is the problem?

 

It just EDM Plugin Error? or My method is wrong? I attach the test file just in case

Export the visable model and collision model together.

Get rid of the .lods file and try again.

 

Otherwise wait for someone too export it..

You have wrong collision model.

 

Detach polygon on model(see on my screen).You need define collision part of ship.

PALUBA(blue), OSTROV(green), BORT(red) ---here is your problem

with "User Definition= collision_shell" its OK on your model

 

export and you can start and land on deck!

Our team is planning to announce ROKN mod in next week.

 

It will be very useful in the second Korean War scenario!

It is needed if you want to make a bit more detailed damage model
