muehlema Posted March 6, 2018 Posted March 6, 2018 Hi I have been observing the Bf109 recently quite a few time. I am astonished how much time in a dogfight the Bf109 can fly constantly at high G. I cann see the wingtip vortice the whole time, 3min+. I don't believe that is realistic. Specially the Bf109 AI does this steep pull upwards, it pulls over and the comes down to me again and in the flyby the vortice stay. I am not an expert on the BF109 flight model, but it does not appear to be right. Reflected Posted March 6, 2018 Posted March 6, 2018 Many things other than G limits don't really apply to AI aircraft, that's why they fly like UFOs, even if they have more holes than a piece of Swiss cheese, and are belching smoke like ole '97. Fortunately, ED is working on a damage model update. I'm not sure if it will also apply to AI planes, but I certainly hope so. There are a few other threads about this.
