VAF [136] Striker Posted March 17, 2018 Posted March 17, 2018 (edited) You have to fly escort for the other Mi-8 to pick up the stranded man but they keep trying to land and can't for some reason. It's either because of the terrain being uneven or some wind, not sure. I may try it again but it looks like they can't pick him up. I waited for at least 15 minutes but they keep bobbing up and down and never touching down completely. I moved the location of the unit to be rescued on the ground to a flatter area close by and then moved the chopper waypoint and he was able to complete the task. So it's obviously a very simple fix. I moved the location of the unit to be rescued on the ground to a flatter area close by and then moved the chopper waypoint and he was able to complete the task. So it's obviously a very simple fix. I tried to fix this mission but it still does not work. Can you maybe send me your corrected mission?
