55%

Every time I try to open DCS world open beta, it loads to 55% and then freezes up.

 

I tried to,download it again, but it tells me to run “repair”or “fix” from the menu, of course no indication of which menu or how to access it.

 

Just when I was starting to really enjoy the game, it’s starting to prove unstable....

If repair isn't on the start menu you can run it from ***\Eagle Dynamics\DCS World OpenBeta\bin\

 

like this:

 

DCS_updater.exe repair

Neither seems to work. Those files aren’t there. I can’t even open the program to get to the menu

Repair and Update should be on Windows Programs -> Eagle Dynamics ->Repair OR Update.

 

Also be aware the first time starting DCS there will be a lot of rendering done and may take several minutes to start.

Solved:

 

My saved games folder is at:

C:\Users\--myusername--\Saved Games

 

Renamed it to:

DCS.openbeta_old
