Hi,

 

with new version of caucasus, there's a lot of forest. In my soft, I created a function to detect flat ground position for heli to land. But now, more of then (randomized) are in forest.

 

It may be very useful to have a new case in enum for scripting function :

enum land.getSurfaceType(table vec2 )

 

to select only non forest zones or forest zones.

Was coming to ask this question too. Found this. Any news Grimes? Would like super really help with missions where enemy ground groups spawn in random locations within larger zones.

Not just forest. Ideally I would like to have more values for different types of terrain, i.e. forest, bushes, field, airfield_parking, airfield_runway, road_in_town etc.
