In my mission and yours the orbit is a racetrack pattern. That means the AI will orbit in a racetrack (oblong) pattern BETWEEN waypoint 1 and waypoint 2.

If the flight has an additional waypoint after the waypoint at which you add the orbit action, racetrack will automatically be selected. If you want a circular orbit exactly at the waypoint, edit the advanced waypoint action and select "circle" from the drop down menu.

OK, I get it now. In the old editor version the race track was a fixed distance for the most part and you only needed one waypoint for the orbit (unless I was using it wrong or not understanding the complete function). What you are saying is that now you can have the racetrack go between two waypoints.

So if you set the racetrack to go north and south between waypoint 1 and 2 and put them 5 miles apart the orbit will actually be between those points?

And are you also saying that you can orient the racetrack so if I put the waypoints oriented east to west it will honor that? And also does the distance extend or contract based on those distances?
