Sam launch causes complete FPS drop

Apologies if this has been reported before i have spent

The last 30 minutes searching for a similar issue on

the forums Not sure if I am the only one experiencing

this issue .

 

I set up a small mission in Caucuses 2.5 release version

with 2 x su25s and 2 x mig 21’s set to attack the buildings

at Novorosyk this mission worked flawlessly on high graphics

until i added the carl vinson carrier and the smaller carrier.

Everytime the carriers fired a sam at the incoming aircraft

And the smoke trail passed close to my aircraft the game

would freeze and stutter badly for about 7 seconds and the

fps would drop to 1 then as soon as the sam trail had

dissipated the sim would resume as before . Has anyone else

experienced this?

Hello guys,

 

First, I'm glad to join this wonderful community and hope to meet you soon online.

 

I'm still working on set up my best simulator settings and

seems I have a simmilar problem with FPS in DCS 2.5.

Its caused by the Buk. I believe there is a bug report on it.

Thank you Grimes. So for now will try to fly far far away from Buks :smilewink:
