herne Posted April 23, 2018 Posted April 23, 2018 Hi, Went onto burning skies server yesterday taking the spit. I was intending to climb to altitude, but at about 17.5 K feet the engine began to sputter and starve. Red Light for the supercharger was on and I could hear when the supercharger kicked in. I don't know what I am doing wrong, could someone offer any tips ?

philstyle Posted April 23, 2018 Posted April 23, 2018 Turn on the electrical fuel pump and you are good to go above 17,5K feet. This ^ There's also a fuel pressure valve on the forward dash by your right knee. It is a large metal butterfly switch. Rotate this in the clockwise direction, it will ensure you have fuel pressure at all altitudes. I turn on the fuel pump AND rotate the butterfly valve as part of my start checks. It's not in the offficial checks, but I do it to spare me the indignity of forgetting when I need it later...
