olli Posted March 18, 2007 Posted March 18, 2007 Hello! I often re-install Lock On. Its bothering to always have to adjust the Key Settings, but i do not find the file, in which they are saved. Can anyone tell me which file it is?
golfsierra2 Posted March 18, 2007 Posted March 18, 2007 Most likely Lock On/Input/Tastatur.ini or /keyboard.ini, depending on your language version. The controller setup is stored in the file Lock On/Input/USBGameController921211668800.ini for example. Just make a backup of the Input folder before you do a new installation and write the folder back afterwards. Why are you installing FC that often anyway ? Any problems ? kind regards, Raven.... EscCtrl Posted March 18, 2007 Posted March 18, 2007 It seems to help refresh the whole game - my copy started to get a lot of visual artifacts which has been fine since I reinstalled it a few weeks back. Someone else mentioned they reinstalled their copy every two weeks or so to refresh these anomalies.

Yes, I want to "refresh" my install, besides, i install many mods, and if somethings going wrong, i reinstall, instead of uninstalling all the mods.

But don't you have to get involved with Star Force.. Kuky Posted March 19, 2007 Posted March 19, 2007 If you save your registry also you don't need to deal with Starforce... I install, add registry, and I don't even see any Starforce popup :D PC specs: Windows 11 Home | Asus TUF Gaming B850-Plus WiFi | AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D + LC 360 AIO | MSI RTX 5090 LC 360 AIO | 55" Samsung Odyssey Gen 2 | 64GB PC5-48000 DDR5 | 1TB M2 SSD for OS | 2TB M2 SSD for DCS | NZXT C1000 Gold ATX 3.1 1000W | TM Cougar Throttle, Floor Mounted MongoosT-50 Grip on TM Cougar board, MFG Crosswind, Track IR

VMFA-Blaze Posted March 19, 2007 Posted March 19, 2007 Yes Ok... Now I remember, I have the key saved in various places in my home network.. I just don't have the need to install F/C that often so I sort of forgot about it... ~S~ Blaze intel Cor i7-6700K ASUS ROG MAX VIII Extreme G.Skill TridentZ Series 32 GB Samsung 850 Pro 1TB SATA II ASUS GTX 1080/DIRECTX 12 Windows 10 PRO Thrustmaster Warthog Oculus Rift VR
