Need more activations

I yesterday sent you a mail , with request to give me more activations because I used all ( I have a lot of problems with my computer ) and registration backup program didn't work for me .

 

Can you give me more activations ?

I will just piggy back his request............I sent in for them a week ago and still nothing back. You should probably expect some time, but I've read if you dont get them within a week start posting on here.:helpsmilie:

I only send them my serial , do you know , if it is enought or I must also send them a hardware code ?

I just got my new activations. Thanks ED. Give them about a week, they will get back to you. All I sent them was my old code.

A week? Why, what the hell are they so busy with they can't be bothered sending a key out to an existing customer? That's scandalous in my opinion, and it's clearly done absolutely nothing to curb piracy as it's available on torrent and has been for a long time. I'd rather wait a day for a download than a week for the key. Well done! :mad:

Five activations is plenty especially if you consider the price tag of $15 bucks. Those who want to try the game lomac is easily obtainable, but true admirers won't hold back when it comes to FC and BS once it is released.

I am going to reinstall FC just for fun and see if it requests another activation.

If you just reinstall the game (or even the OS) but don't change any hardware, it will still ask for you to activate again (manually or auto) and you will use another key if you so. The only way not to use another key, which is what I always do, is to use registry saving utility ED provided and add the saved registry straight after you install the game.

 

Only if you do a major hardware change/upgrade or install the game on different PC you won't be able to use the saved registry and will have to use up new activation key.

Yes .. I just used up my last key... I'm hoping that I don't have any problems in the foreseeable future...

 

Oh well If I do need another key I think the download is down to only about 14.00.USD...

Come on ED, there has got to be a better way to do this...

 

I've just rebuilt my PC with Vista again, and tried using the reg save that the save utility gave me from when I first installed Vista back in January, but no go.... Now I'm out of activations, with no Lock on and no reply from ED in almost a week.......
