Gazelle airobatic smoke

Hi there,

i did see on youtube you can have aerobatic smoke for the Gazelle in DCS.

 

how can you set it up (in mission editor ?) and how to activate in cockpit ?

i never did smoke on any other plane or heli, so i dont have a glue.. which code from where and where to add it ? :helpsmilie:

Scroll down a bit.........

 

You will need to do two installs,

One for the saved games folder, and,

One for the DCS main folder.

It will not work as is.

 

It will also remove the mini gun version..........:mad:

 

So I added the weapon code to the stock lua.

 

Have a try and see if it works!

 

Please note, the weapons and smoke only appear on the "M" variant.

 

I have not tested this yet.

Have run out of time today,

So please let us know!

 

Use the lua below in place of the one in the mod.

Be sure to separate the mod into two folders!

The upuaut SA342M Weapon Mod: (MilanER, Maljutka, Hellfire, Smoke) mod seems promising.

unfortunately i did not make it run...

 

maybe i have to wait for an update from upuaut.

 

Just to know how it should work: In the missioneditor i place a Gazelle M,

then , in the section where you select weapons, (where is normally hot3 missiles only)

i should be able to select smoke. Later on in Gazelle itself just aktivate missiles, press fire>>>done

right ?

I have not had time to test this yet.

 

If memory has not failed, (a iffy proposition at this age!)

The smoke pods are considered "missiles"

If so, they should work unless the core code has changed........

 

Try the other weapons.
