BlacleyCole Posted May 1, 2018 Posted May 1, 2018 I have a laptop with a m.2 ssd for my c drive and dcs drive its size is 512gb. I’m thinking of upgrading it to a 1 or 2 tb model if I don’t go. 2tb I’m thinking of swapping my 1tb hdd with. 2tb ssd drive. I may move the dcs to it if I do. The current m.2 is almost full if not to th usable fill limit. If I do swap it out I just ant too early th data over . I’m sure I can get a cable to do that. Ok now for the dcs question will I need to uninstall the licenses or will it even notice the move? BlackeyCole 20years usaf XP-11. ED Team BIGNEWY Posted May 1, 2018 ED Team Posted May 1, 2018 you should be ok if you are just moving it to a drive on the same machine. If you are swapping your OS however it maybe best to deactivate a guide for activation's can be found in your doc folder in the dcs root Forum rules - DCS Crashing?
