freezes when using editor

If you are going to go to 32G, might be best to buy a new 32G kit and sell your existing 16G kit, I have had bad experiences with trying to add another kit

(even when kit was exact same brand and identical model as first kit)

yeah was considering that, but funds are tight, I can get another 16gb for about £150 at the moment.

I confirm this error. These crashes annoy me greatly.

 

 

How to reproduce:

 

 

1. Load a mission.

2. Run the mission.

3. Don't join a slot.

4. Quit to mission editor.

5. Fly again.

 

 

 

Do this process until the editor crashes. CTD i mean ...

If you can't with one mission, try another one.

 

 

It crashes right in the middle of the loading ... You don't even get a slot screen ... when the bar is not even at the end => CTD.

 

 

Can this be reinvestigated pls?

it maybe related to another crash we have reported after several mission relaunches.

 

If so we should see improvement in the next patch.

I have the same issue as you guys really sucks when scripting. Its weird because I’ll be able to use the ME for an hour or two no problem then all of the sudden it will start crashing every other time I go to do a play test.

It happens when you're designing missions. It happens when you load the run environment. Right in the middle kaboom. And away is DCS.

 

I think there is an issue with the cache. Because the first load always works. Try switching windows. You run dcs full screen? I run it windowed.

I run in window, I am switching between 3 screens for other tasks also while mission making

I also use window mode when editing

 

This is still happening .... a lot
