VCRUNTIME140.dll usual points to an issue with the runtime, but I am not sure in this case as it points also to a scripting / GUI error

I just crashed loading into the AV-8B instant mission "Conventional Bombing"

I've actually been experiencing loads of crashes in DCS since 2.5 released in the beta and release builds.

do you have enough room on your hardrive for your pagefile?

what is your pagefile set as? is it manual or system managed?

Not sure what this is, I've never manually set anything with it.

I have 167GB free on my drive.

maybe worth checking your pagefile to see what it is currently set at

thanks, I will highlight this thread to a team member.

just for info, you can clean out your log folder, it will generate a new archive after each crash so you dont have to zip the whole folder each time. or if you just want to attach the dcs.log change it from a .log to a .txt and the forum will except it.

Sometimes it does that, sometimes it doesn't. I've had the pop up asking me if I want to zip it, but then sometimes the DCS window fully closes and the pop up disappears.

Hi, I think I may have got this sorted out. I suspected it was my old GTX 980 was the culprit as I know that 4GB of VRAM is outdated so I used this as an excuse to finally upgrade and get a 1080 TI and now the crashing seems to be gone (only played about an hour, more testing will probably be needed) but I think that it's sorted.

Thanks the help anyway, Bignewy.
