Do I need to replace 2.5 open beta with 2.5 stable

I have open beta 2.5 everything works great do I need to replace it

with 2.5 stable version

In the new modules for the Hornet and Persian Gulf in the system requirement it states that you only need the stable version of 2.5 do I need to delete the open beta version and instal the stable version of 2.5

They are saying it will install into 2.5.1 beta, and later in time move over to 2.5 stable. That's subject to change as everything is.

The Persian Gulf map an the Hornet will probably be available for the Open Beta first, so you're good.

Will we have to replace 2.5 open beta with 2.5 stable once they are happy with it ,or will it happen as an update or will 2.5 OB always be available

Once they are happy with Beta they update Stable branch with the code in Open Beta. And they continue to modify/improve/add stuff in OB branch.

OB and Stable are parallel branches but OB is the most advanced one but has more bugs.
