Today (after updating to 2.5.2) I tried to increase my MSAA setting from 2x to 4x. After that I noticed that my camera views in both left and right HDDs were broken (almost solid white for Mav on left, and black except for the crosshairs for TV on right). No terrain or vehicle images could be seen at all. Changing back to 2xMSAA again "fixed" it, for now.

I am not sure if this is a new issue or old, since I don't recall trying 4xMSAA in the last several months anyway.

FWIW I tried different settings for cockpit display resolutions but without impact on this issue.

Anybody else able to reproduce this?

+1 here. Been noticing that for awhile. You have to exit out of the game whenever you change the msaa settings otherwise you get what you see. Happens in the A-10c too.

Thanks for the reply. I didn't know I needed to restart after changing a setting. Most games would mention that in the dialogue, or else just force the user to do so. Cheers!

I've always had issues changing MSAA settings within game.

What I learned a while back was to disable all MSAA settings in the game options and force run everything using NVidia control panel. Even if DCS has an update I don't get bugs/problems when it comes to graphics from DCS engine because I am using NVidia to control these parameters.

Thanks my experience anyway, I don't know if others benefit the same as I from this.

Good idea Chris! I tried that about a year ago and found that I could not get my NVCP settings to work inside DCS for whatever reason. However, I just tried that again today and boom it works now. I really appreciate the help.

I can only confirm this statement. I control most of the settings via the Nvidia control panel. It works very well with me, I have no difficulties. From my previous experience, I can only recommend to everyone to do likewise. Or at least to test it.

I am sad. Today it seems that my NVCP graphics settings (AA etc) will not function in DCS.

It was doing it a week ago, but now it is like a year ago when it would not do anything.

If I turn off in-game AA, then set AA in NVCP, I get zero AA effect in the game (blocky as hell).

I tried deleting options.lua, re-doing the settings and restarting DCS many times, but no difference.

Any ideas?
