Jarlerus Posted May 24, 2018 Posted May 24, 2018 Hi. At the moment, all A.I. units with an MG will try to shoot an attacking a/c down, by directly tracking the a/c with their AA-fire. As seen in the video bellow (at 4:40+), that's not a very realistic behaviour, and could preferably be made more realistic. Similar reworks could be made for visually tracked AAA, in ways applicable for those types respectively. //Jarl Jarl at YouTube DCS Service Span and Wishlist Spreadsheet Forum post for discussion of above spreadsheet Retro Electro Playlist on Spotify
Kev2go Posted May 24, 2018 Posted May 24, 2018 good points. Id say Coaxiam mgs right now in DCS are too accurate. Tank AI basically drop anything else they do to shoot at aircraft. they have a sixth sense. I find ww2 tanks Panther or King tiger Coax more dangerous than a T55 + or more modern tanks with Heavy Calibre MG. they have laser accuracy. looks comical to having tanks traverse thier turrets tilted up.
