nessuno0505 Posted May 25, 2018 Posted May 25, 2018 If I load "courier" single Mission, I have internal fuel 10% + 2 external tanks set on Mission editor. The manual says internal fuel don't go under 100% until external tanks are empty, since the fuel goes from external tanks to internal ones and then to engines. Then why my fuel gauge is nearly empty and there's an EKRAN message about low fuel? If I Remember well, in 2.5.1 fuel gauge was at max. If I take off, my engines always shut off After a while. Maybe cause I run out of fuel? All my fuel pumps are on, internal and external, I've checked. Is this a new bug? If someone wants to check I'd Be grateful.
Raven (Elysian Angel) Posted May 25, 2018 Posted May 25, 2018 (edited) If someone wants to check I'd Be grateful. I just loaded one of my own missions, emptied the internal tanks to 10% and loaded up two inboard fuel tanks, before starting up. The "fuel-low" warnings do indeed show for the forward and rear fuel tanks, but fuel does get transferred to the internal tanks: the fuel indicator *slowly* starts rising, and the warnings disappear from the Ecran. nessuno0505 Posted May 25, 2018 Author Posted May 25, 2018 How much time does It get to disappear the warning? Are you using 2.5.2 ob? I'll check again... Could you try the included Mission called "courier"? Thanks.
nessuno0505 Posted May 25, 2018 Author Posted May 25, 2018 Sorry my fault, there was something I was doing wrong. It works, not a bug. Topic can be closed.
Raven (Elysian Angel) Posted May 25, 2018 Posted May 25, 2018 Glad to hear you found the cause :-) Spoiler Ryzen 7 9800X3D | 96GB G.Skill Ripjaws M5 Neo DDR5-6000 | Asus ProArt RTX 4080 Super | ASUS ROG Strix X870E-E GAMING | Samsung 990Pro 2TB + 990Pro 4TB NMVe | VR: Varjo Aero VPC MT-50CM2 grip on VPForce Rhino with Z-curve extension | VPC CM3 throttle | VPC CP2 + 3 | FSSB R3L | VPC Rotor TCS Plus base with SharKa-50 grip | Everything mounted on Monstertech MFC-1 | VPC R1-Falcon pedals with damper | Pro Flight Trainer Puma OpenXR | PD 1.0 | 100% render resolution | DCS graphics settings Win11 Pro 24H2 - VBS/HAGS/Game Mode ON
BaD CrC Posted May 25, 2018 Posted May 25, 2018 External tanks pumps ON! https://www.blacksharkden.com http://discord.gg/blacksharkden
nessuno0505 Posted May 25, 2018 Author Posted May 25, 2018 The pumps were on. It was the weapon control switch, the One next to the three ejection switches, that must Be on in order to have the external pumps run and the fuel to flow. Quite obvious Indeed, since external tanks are attached to weapon racks...
