Devil 505 Posted May 26, 2018 Posted May 26, 2018 (edited) Hey gents, I know there is a third party mod out there for this, but has ED or any dev ever talked about implementing ACM video debriefs into DCS? I remember Digital Image Design doing it with F-22 Total Air War. It was really useful for perfecting air to air and even air to ground combat techniques. I think this would be a big step in the right direction for enthusiast working toward becoming better combat pilots. I know I could use it to critique myself. Thoughts or opinions? David OC Posted May 26, 2018 Posted May 26, 2018 (edited) Tacview is a dedicated program that is "actively developed" on it's own and is good enough? Accurate enough for the French Air Force to use.... 25 May 2018, 1.7.2 beta 2 is the latest version. I think keeping this separate and off ED's "very long" to do list is a good thing. http://www.tacview.net/features/comparison/en/ Tacview really is a great program, download the free version to try it out for yourself. This is not just a mod, it has it's own icon in the DCS tray. Mars Exulte Posted May 26, 2018 Posted May 26, 2018 Yeaaaah... Tacview isn't a mod. It's external software written for that specific purpose. What you're asking for exists. It's called TacView. Go get it. They interface with a lot more than just games, and seem to have contracts with civil and military institutions. Devil 505 Posted May 28, 2018 Author Posted May 28, 2018 Very much appreciated gents. I had no idea this was a separate software. I will give it a try. Sounds like a great option
