Lost Persian Gulf and Version 2.5.2.17559.77

After having payed a long time ago and waiting even longer I wanted finally download the Hornet.

As a result I lost the Persian Gulf cause I have not noted the Serialnumber and it asked me to put it in manually. The same for other modules, but from the older ones I noted the numbers.

 

Then I tried to update, the following message came out:

"The Version 2.5.217559.377 is not availabe" end of Story, I had acces to the game, but only with a time limit and no option to play online....

Any solutions available?

Are you sure you are running DCS OpenBeta?

 

Persian Gulf is still exclusive to the OpenBeta and is not available in the stable (aka "release") version.

 

Which would also explain why it says the latest version is not available.

 

The Persian Gulf map also doesn't require inputting a serial number, it is now checked against your account at digitalcombatsimulator.com and should be activated as soon as you log into DCS (in the OpenBeta, of course).

more or less similar story here:

i ran cmd with dcs_updater.exe update @openbeta..

 

after the update went through i was greeted by the Caucasus map wallpaper (had Persian Gulf before)..

 

Persian Gulf is not seen in module manager and also wiped off of my SSD's dcs/mods/terrain/ folder..

 

However i was not asked for a serial number...

I had to change to Beta for the Persina Gulf, if I remember well.

Also, it seems the forum server as well as the authorization servers are under heavy load right now. Chances are it'll fix itself in a hew hours, and I'm sure the admins are hard at work, too.

Thanks Yurgon, you are rigth. 3 hours later it worked perfectly. Sorry not having the patience.

Problem solve, Persian Gulf Map is also again there and usuable.
