COJan Posted May 31, 2018 Posted May 31, 2018 Hello, I just fired up my DCS to fly the new Hornet but DCS keeps crashing a few minutes into the mission. I think it is caused by this error: failed to create vertex buffer. Reason: DXGI_ERROR_DEVICE_REMOVED Logs are attached My Specs: Intel I7-7700 HQ Nvidia GTX 1050 16 GB DDR3 512 GB Nvme SSD Running at 1080p @ Medium Settings. Ram Usage: 11.8 GB / 16 GB maximum CPU: 50% GPU : 95% FPS: Around 60 and stable until the crash Driver Version: Newest Version (Just checked) V 397.93 Shadowplay Overlay is disableddcs.log-20180531-112819.zipdcs.log-20180531-111146.zipdcs.log-20180531-084404.zip

Andy1966 Posted May 31, 2018 Posted May 31, 2018 Hello, I had the same "device removed" crash and fixed it by deleting my video driver and reinstalling it. It came up as up to date also. might be worth a try. We are Virtual Pilots, a growing International Squad of pilots, we fly Allies in WWII and Red Force in Korea and Modern combat. COJan Posted May 31, 2018 Author Posted May 31, 2018 I did try that, it still crashes. I already tried shutting down Steam, wich was running as well as setting the tdrlevel to 0 and tdrdelay to 8 It is still crashing Any more ideas?
