meloco Posted May 31, 2018 Posted May 31, 2018 Hi, The game was fine last night, went on today and it crashes consistently within 3 minutes of flying the carrier take-off mission (regardless of graphics settings). Attached log of crash. i5-2500K CPU @ 3.30GHz, 12GB RAM, R9 390 Series (8GB), TRACKIR (updated last night).dcs.log-20180531-114154.rar [sIGPIC]http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v281/Meloco/f18indgMeloco-sig-1.jpg[/sIGPIC]

meloco Posted June 3, 2018 Author Posted June 3, 2018 I'm still suffering the same amount of crashes, even with the new update :(. Now, a log isn't even created because the game is literally 'hanging' and then just closes suddenly. [sIGPIC]http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v281/Meloco/f18indgMeloco-sig-1.jpg[/sIGPIC]

meloco Posted June 4, 2018 Author Posted June 4, 2018 just did some further digging, it seems DCS is making windows 10 report "bad sectors" but it A) never had this before , B) installed on a brand new drive, C) done all checks and everything system wise is OK. So... how could DCS be constantly forcing these BSOD / KERNEL DATA INPAGE ERROR ? This seems to be either a HDD or RAM failing but I've checked everything/system checks and 3rd party apps, all OK all other applications run fine. This just happened since DCS updated and F/A 18... so guys at ED please can you explain and/or advise if this is something your end that can be addressed in the next update? Many thanks.
