lennycutler Posted May 31, 2018 Posted May 31, 2018 When I assign the dispense switch to my throttle, the assignment works, however, when I actually try to use it, the dispense button moves up and once I release pressure on the assigned throttle button the dispense key moves back to its off position. If however, I use the mouse to select the dispense button, the button stays in the on position, and I can then dispense a flare or chaff. So something which is beyond my knowledge, prevents the key assignment to the throttle button from being persistent. Suspect a minor change to a lua file can fix this, but I don't know how to do it. But thankfully, the mouse click works. Master Arm is on when I try this. Velocity MicroI7-4790 Windows 7 Home Premium 16Gigs RAM EVGA NVIDIA GTX 1070 500GB SSD TM Hotas Warthog

The current way the keybinding for that seems to be working is as a "button press/depress" rather than a "switch". If you have a two position switch that doesn't revert to center and holds that "button press" input then that would be a better HOTAS binding option for now until we get revised keybindings. I hope this is what is going on and solves your issues. I had the same issue so from now on I just use the mouse to set bypass switch. User Files for AV8-B, X55
lennycutler Posted May 31, 2018 Author Posted May 31, 2018 Thanks for confirming the issue....I agree, hopefully it will be addressed in the near future, but yes, the mouse works except for having to take my hand off the stick to get to it...since I use my right hand for both mouse and stick. In my honest opinion...I just leave it set to BYPASS...I've made it part of my checklist prior to take off, or if you want to go as far, you can make it part of your IP checklist. I should have been more clear in my reasons...I use BYPASS to allow me to release CHAFF or FLARE at my own discretion....in other words, I don't use a counter measures release program, I release them in my own way/count/frequency/type etc. which is what BYPASS is for User Files for AV8-B, X55
ED Team Wags Posted May 31, 2018 ED Team Posted May 31, 2018 Bypass is certainly very simple, but setting up a MAN mode program will give you much more control. Youtube: https://www.youtube.com/user/wagmatt Twitch: wagmatt System: https://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?p=3729544#post3729544
