VMFA-Blaze Posted April 6, 2007 Posted April 6, 2007 Very impressive ...... They look and sound just like their big brothers.. Of course I liked the Mig the best... But I'm sure this hobby is very, very expensive... ~S~ Blaze intel Cor i7-6700K ASUS ROG MAX VIII Extreme G.Skill TridentZ Series 32 GB Samsung 850 Pro 1TB SATA II ASUS GTX 1080/DIRECTX 12 Windows 10 PRO Thrustmaster Warthog Oculus Rift VR
Aeroscout Posted April 6, 2007 Posted April 6, 2007 well, depends on what your doing. id your just flying park flyers, it's no more expensive than flight sims. (actualy, less in some ways.) but if you want the jets, then, yes, it's very expensive. DCS Wishlist: 1) FIX THE DAMN RIVERS!!! 2) Spherical or cylindrical panorama view projection. 3) Enhanced input options (action upon button release, etc). 4) Aircraft flight parameter dump upon exit (stick posn, attitude, rates, accel, control volume, control-surface positions, SAS bias, etc). 5) ADS-33 maneuver courses as static objects. 6) Exposed API or exports of trim position and stick force for custom controllers. 7) Select auto multiple audio devices
bramski Posted April 7, 2007 Posted April 7, 2007 Check this one out, it looks genuine but who knows... http://www.therawfeed.com/2006/09/vr-gear-makes-rc-airplane-coolest-toy.html

Even though it is a DYI for now.. I'm betting that someone will eventually put something like this into production soon... ~S~ Blaze intel Cor i7-6700K ASUS ROG MAX VIII Extreme G.Skill TridentZ Series 32 GB Samsung 850 Pro 1TB SATA II ASUS GTX 1080/DIRECTX 12 Windows 10 PRO Thrustmaster Warthog Oculus Rift VR

jonnyB3 Posted April 7, 2007 Posted April 7, 2007 Nice i crashed my RC plane yesterday! Moderator doesnt like it :(
Meyvn Posted April 7, 2007 Posted April 7, 2007 Check this one out, it looks genuine but who knows... http://www.therawfeed.com/2006/09/vr-gear-makes-rc-airplane-coolest-toy.html The next thing we should do is mount rockets and gun on that airplane, then we can begin a virtual Dogfight in the air!!!:megalol:
Aeroscout Posted April 7, 2007 Posted April 7, 2007 The next thing we should do is mount rockets and gun on that airplane, then we can begin a virtual Dogfight in the air!!!:megalol: People do that. They tie long ribons to the end of their planes and then, the other one has to fly up behing it and cut it with the propeller. VMFA-Blaze Posted April 7, 2007 Posted April 7, 2007 That would be interesting to see some RC jets with missiles, dog fighting... But where would you be able to do something like this with out getting injured.. I don't think it would be practical, unfortunately... ~S~ Blaze intel Cor i7-6700K ASUS ROG MAX VIII Extreme G.Skill TridentZ Series 32 GB Samsung 850 Pro 1TB SATA II ASUS GTX 1080/DIRECTX 12 Windows 10 PRO Thrustmaster Warthog Oculus Rift VR
Aeroscout Posted April 7, 2007 Posted April 7, 2007 No, no missiles unfortunately. Just the ribbons and propellers. Oh well, missiles would be cool though. except you would lose your plane.
